Have you applied for the Countryside Productivity Scheme?

The UK government has announced a funding pool available to encourage investment in equipment to improve farm productivity.

Grants are available for between £3k and £12k across Livestock, Arable and Horticulture industries.

A list of 87 specific items has been published under the ‘Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme’.

The list of items include equipment for:
Dairy
Goats
Sheep
Deer
Buffalo
Beef
Pigs
Poultry
Arable
Horticulture

Grants are available for 40% of the cost of the equipment, which is specified in the grant guidance. Equipment purchased must match the minimum specification detailed.

The deadline for applications is midday on Tuesday 3rd September, after which time grants will be awarded.

Full guidance on how to apply is available on the Government website along with a link to the online application portal.
