Affintiy Fuel Executive Amanada Lawn and Livestock Business Development Manager Thomas Baines-Sizeland have been recognised for their commitment to upholding AF's SERV values - Service, Excellence, Responsibility, Value - by winning a £75 voucher of their choice through AF's SERV awards.
Amanda was nominated by colleagues and members for providing excellent service, including numerous occasions where members commented that she had gone above and beyond in ensuring their needs were met. Amanda also battled past The Beast from the East to ensure she made it into the office to help organise fuel orders as well as assist in other areas of the business - all of which was done with efficiency and a cheery disposition.
Thomas was recognised for his selflessness during the recent disruptive weather when he assisted colleagues with ad-hoc tasks and system training, ensuring that colleagues who had not used systems previously were able to do so. As well as providing training, Thomas also supported the rest of the business with his 'can-do' attitude by taking any calls that came in.
Presenting the awards to the winners, AF's CEO Jon Duffy said, "The beginning of March was a very trying period for everyone connected to AF due to the incredibly disruptive weather. However, the character shown by Thomas and Amanda typifies the 'can'-do' spirit that is central to our SERV values. Their commitment, selflessness and dedication are shining examples of how we want to interact with all those that engage with AF. I can't think of two more worthy winners and I'm delighted that they have been recognised."
